Legal Career

My Wife and I moved to Slidell while I was still in law school. After graduation and passing the bar. I began practicing in Slidell from 1969 until date. In 1971, I opened up my own practice. The timing was right, and I had a very successful practice. In 1972, I became the City Attorney of Slidell. As the city grew by leaps and bounds, so did my practice. I was on the defense team in the Pan Am crash matters representing Pan Am and its insurers. Additionally, I have been a prosecutor since 1970. I have served as a Special Prosecutor for the District Attorney of the 22nd Judicial District. I have prosecuted serious felonies on a regular and continuing basis. I am a lecturer to the Slidell, Mandeville and Covington Police departments on various topics. I served as the City Prosecutor of Slidell and am Assistant District Attorney assigned to Slidell City Court. Additionally, I have served as City Attorney from July 2010 to September 2011.
